Getting there, one way or another.
I'm Thomas. I live in Cologne, work wherever the Wi-Fi holds, and leave whenever the calendar looks the other way.
How I get there changes. Some trips are a motorcycle and a route that runs mostly north to south; some are a car, a plane, or a seat with a tray table. The getting there is half of it.
The other half is staying. Coliving houses, borrowed flats, a few weeks somewhere — long enough to learn where the good coffee is, and usually long enough to stop pretending I'll leave on schedule.
The rides live under Rides & Expeditions, the stays under Travel, and everything together under Journey. It is all written up afterwards, once it is clear which bits mattered.
